By coiling the raw cable and coating it with a special formulation of bright orange nylon we have been able to eliminate tangling, kinking and knotting, reduce operator effort and create a highly visible, chemical and corrosion resistant cable. The end result is a retractable cable that neatly expands when needed and contracts to its original size once tension is released.
Retract-A-Clamp® is the product choice for any application requiring a ground or a bond between vessels, tanks, drums, loading cars, piping, valves, etc. Stocked cable lengths range from 5 feet to 40 feet.
We offer a variety of hand clamps, pipe clamps and terminal lugs to fit your unique application. Various sizes, metalurigies, design styles, and approval ratings are in Stock and Ready-to-Ship. Non-standard designs are quoted upon request.

We recommend the REB 2960 hand clamp for painted and corrosion inherent surfaces and for environments demanding a robust clamp force. For non-painted surfaces or when corrosion is not a problem choose our A Series of clamps with the copper alligator clips. For terminating to existing grounding points choose our Terminal Lugs. Pipe and I-Beam grounding and bonding can be accomplished with our wide reaching array of sizes and configurations of Pipe Clamps and C-Clamps.

Static Ground Monitoring Systems

Properly storing grounding clamps and cable adds effective life to the grounding or bonding systems by keeping the clamps and cables away from general traffic flow and out of chemical spills. In addition, the self-storing design provides a safety feature by eliminating the possibility of tripping over loose or tangled cables. However, instead of 2 stainless steel points, the ALS10A is designed with plated steel jaws to allow proper contact onto unpainted surfaces, posts or thin materials.
