The Earth-Rite RTR™ Tri-Mode is a unique system specifically designed for road tanker trucks. In addition to a ground continuity check, the system carries out a “tanker verification” check, confirming that the dual circuit ground clamp has been applied to the tanker truck and not any other conductive object. Keeping with the Tri-Mode design, a third operational check is conducted verifying that the system is properly connected to a proper dissipative ground/earth path. Included with the system is a voltage free switch contact which may be interlocked to a designated control device, which will only operate went the three verification checks are properly satisfied. (2) The Earth-Rite PLUS (single mode) may be used in applications involving metal drums, totes, road tankers, railcars and any other conductive objects which require proper grounding and monitoring as part of the process. The system offers a safe and simple to install solution when continuous monitoring and interlock control is beneficial.
